400 Prisoners | One Magic Show | Thousands of smile repeatedly.
Magic is everywhere, it’s the reality of magic most people don’t understand. Magic is nothing but emotions, attachments, love, affection.
Some become criminal, some become entertainer, Some struggle for lifetime and some become habitual. Those who understand the magic of life they get became ideal or who don’t understand became idiot.
On a CSR activity, Jadugar Kumar visited to Berhampur Circle Jail, a place associated with the criminal justice system. The inmates are confined to the boundaries of the prison and deprived of their liberties as a result of the crime committed by them. However, we need to hate the Sin but not the Sinner. And the jail is the place where the authorities tried to reform the prisoners. That is why the jails are also called as “Correctional Facility”.
Jadugar Kumar Says:
Keeping all this in mind, I approached the Jail Superintendent of Berhampur Circle Jail. After a brief discussion, a magic show has been planned for the inmates on the eve of 3rd April.
As a Magician, I have performed all kind of shows for all sectors of audiences, in my last 30 professional years. However, performing for these jail inmates is a new thing in my career. And I must say; it’s a wonderful experience. The best part of the program is, one young inmate came and thanked me wholeheartedly for being there for them. Such things may not add to the profile of a Magician but definitely will remain with me for the lifetime.
